Percy & Reed-Hair Products

Over the past few months I have been really into looking after my hair and wanting to keep it in really good condition. There are not many things I would say that I "like" about myself, however my hair is one of my favourite features. I have naturally thick hair and so when I blow-dry my hair I like to use a heat protector as well as some form of a serum. I usually buy these serums from TK Maxx as they have high quality products for a much smaller price (it's basically a shop which has end of the line products, clothes, furniture-anything really-from brands such as Calvin Klein & Michael Kors.

Whilst I was shopping in my local TK Maxx the last month I spotted that they were selling Percy & Reed products and got just a tad over excited (I had heard ViviannaDoesMakeup talking about them).Of course, I had to buy some!

 The first product I picked up was the 'Superstar Supersized Bodifying Cream' which I have been using after brushing through my heat protector.The good thing about this product is that it is packaged with a pump and  you only have to use one pump at a time! (so good value for money). Not only are the Percy & Reed products beautifully packaged with cute drawings and fonts but the smell is truely INCREDIBLE. I don't even know how to describe it, but it smells like elderflower. So far I have used this about 10 times and still have loads left in the bottle. I have to say that I have noticed a difference with the texture of my hair since using this product (definetly more shiny) and have gotten many compliments. I bought this product for around £6 which I think is totally worth it and I do regret not buying more however it was a try and buy situation. Usually this is £14 and I would say that I would repurchase this based on how it has benefited my hair.

My second product is 'Brilliant Beautiful Superglossing Mask' which I have only used once so far. I used this after I had been on a camping weekend with school-not out of choice. I also came to the decision that I would never go camping again in the UK. I cam back and my hair felt DISGUSTING. I knew that I needed a deep cleanse and so when I remembered that I bought this from TK Maxx along with the other Percy & Reed hair product I lathered this on my hair, hoping for something to revive it. And I do believe that this did the trick. It transformed it from dry and gross to beautifully glossy. This was the first hair mask that I have ever used and I must say that I fell in love with it. I like the fact that hair masks are something you use once in a while, not everyday and are almost like a treat. Again, this Percy & Reed product smelt divine! I bought it for around £8 and in shops it is £18! again I grabbed a bargain! I would maybe buy this again however I think that masks may be something which I would like to experiment with.

 When I got my ELLE magazine this month ( I was lucky enough to get an subscription for my birthday) it came with a Percy & Reed 'Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Balm'. I was really surprised and excited because of the positive experiences I have had with their other products. To be honest I have not tried this product yet but I have high hopes for it. It smells exactly the same as the other products

I have and I can't wait to use it. The original price is £18. For the size of the bottle 75ml I think it is on the pricey side so I don't know if I would buy this myself however for a FREE gift it is lovely.

Hello Everybody!

Hello Everyone,

This is my first blog post and to be honest it is not something I would usually do (create a blog that is). However following lots of popular blogs like 'Vivianna Does Makeup','Zoella', 'Sprinkle of Glitter' really has inspired me to have a crack at it. I love photography and writing about products,trends and all things beauty related so I thought I could try my best and just see what happens. I don't want my first post to be cringey so I will keep this first one short and sweet.

My Names is Emily (as you can see this is me) 

Make-up in particular is something I have always had a huge interest in and is something I have collected for around 5 years now.My collection is no where near as large as someone like Tanya Burr but I love all my little bits and bobs all the same. On the topic of make-up I recently purchased the Naked 3 Palette- yes, I bit the bullet. It is a palette that I have wanted for quite a long time now and I can totally see why everyone went CRAZY for it when it came out. I will probably do a blog post on it soon so I won't go into much depth now.

 Anyway back to blogging.Blogging is something which I think is now becoming a very popular way for people of today to express themselves and share experiences. I want my blog to be somewhere where I can post things about what has been happening in my life and share things with with you all. 

I will try and blog as often as I can however due to the fact I am still at school the days will vary.
